Lovely clean, modern flat with comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen in the centre of Bologna.
The apartment is very clean and well equipped. Alessandro, our host, was easy to communicate with and very helpful, ensuring that we had all the information we needed to get into the apartment and that we were happy throughout our stay. The apartment is close to the train station and the city centre, perfect for a week of exploring Bologna.

What I liked most about the apartment was the location. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was perfectly fine. It worked well as a base for exploring Bologna.

- • What I didn’t like was that it felt completely stripped of even the most basic comforts needed for an extended stay. There were no pictures on the walls, no coffee table, no workstation, nowhere convenient to plug in a computer, and not even a wine glass. It felt less like an apartment and more like an empty shell. At one point I was literally using an ironing board as a coffee table, which honestly became a symbol of how impractical the space was for actually living there day to day. There was also significant road construction that should have been disclosed ahead of time. Streets were closed, there was constant noise, and the balcony overlooked an interior courtyard surrounded by other apartments, which created a surprising amount of echo and amplified sound throughout the day.
Great apartment and for both access to Bologna city and the station. Alessandro was so helpful.

I really liked Bologna and the possibility of taking the train to neighboring cities like Ferrara.
The apartment is very well located: a 5-minute walk from the train station and a 5-minute walk from the historic center. It is spacious, modern, clean, and bright.

- • Unfortunately, there were no kitchen towels, the cutlery was quite mismatched, there were also no tissues in the bathroom. Another garbage can would be advantageous here. The construction site in front of the house was loud, but no one can do anything about that.
Communicative host with a clean, quiet apartment exactly as shown in the pictures
Alessandro allowed an early check-in and the place was clean when we arrived with everything ready. The location was close to the train station and about a 15-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. There were some good restaurants nearby, and Alessandro was helpful with recommendations. He was always fast to respond with good communication. If you need a supermarket there is an Aldi close to the apartment. It was easy to get a taxi using the TaxiClick or BTaxi apps. The apartment was clean with new appliances. The washer worked well, but be aware there is no dryer, which seemed to be a common theme at all the places we stayed in Italy. There was a drying rack for clothes and an iron and ironing board. The building seemed very safe and was very quiet. I could not hear any noise from the street or neighbors during our stay.

- • As a small improvement, I would like a small trash can in the bathrooms instead of just under the kitchen sink. The showers did not have a place to put soap or the bottles of shampoo/body wash. I put mine on the floor of the shower stall, but it is harder for my parents in their 70s to crouch to pick up and put down the bottles. A shower caddy or adhesive shower shelf would be an inexpensive fix for this issue.
