Great location close to the harbor and stations, small but enough room for 3 large bags under the bed, clean, staff were friendly, had a microwave and water in reception, pretty quiet.

- • Elevator line to get up to level 16 was long at times, bathroom was small and not the nicest.
Good enough to sleep through the night
They change towels every day. AC was working and no issue with water pressure.

- • The elevator is crowded. It will take time for you to go up and down the floors.
Avoid Chungking Mansion at all costs.

- • Everything. Lots of guests using it for short times so not advisable for a family, especially with kids. Lots of shady people coming in and out. Very small room, small toilet, bad smell, building has only one elevator so expect long lines before getting in.

- • The whole thing is a scam. First off, all the other hostels with bad reviews are under the same management in order to trick the rating system on Booking. Secondly, I can’t begin to describe the smell throughout the whole building… after talking with locals, it has a bad rep. Paid for 5 nights but didn’t even spend one in there, decided to spend on another accommodation.

- • First, the lift you have to wait 15 minutes, a long queue and very crowded. Very noisy at night, the AC was very noisy, we could not sleep the whole stay as water dropped outside. Even we changed the room, still the same. The room is very small and there was no warm water.
