- • The hotel has an old-fashioned decoration, it's a classic and as such complicated to clean. Upon entering, it smells of lack of cleanliness. My room had a broken door frame, which made me think, but fortunately, everything went well.
Clean, pleasant, and spacious room. Good bathroom. Very close to the Basilica of St. John, minibus station to go to Ephesus, and taxis. Excellent breakfast.

Good staff, but disappointing overall
The room and bed were comfortable. Although the staff spoke very little English and we had to communicate mostly through a translator, they were always extremely kind, friendly, and eager to help.

- • Unfortunately, the breakfast was very disappointing, with very limited choices. More concerning was the lack of proper food handling. Cold items, including cheese and other dairy products, were left unrefrigerated throughout breakfast. I also noticed that the same carton of milk, which I had opened in a very distinctive way on the first morning, was served again on the following two mornings after being left out for hours all of the days. Another issue was a very strong odor that occasionally came from the bathroom drain. It was even worse than a typical sewer smell and made the bathroom quite unpleasant at times.
