Good position, near MTR, so it was really easy moving through the city. The room is really small but it’s Hong Kong. At first glance, the building looks weird and a little unsafe, but it's really a good place and people are really kind.

- • It's a hostel, which is reflected in the facilities. A few wire hangers, short beds, no wardrobe, air conditioning directly above one of the beds, the house is in a catastrophic state
Great room and location, small but nice for a decent price
The location is in the vibrant life of Hong Kong (Tsim Sha Tsui). Eating places and bakeries all around. Close to the lively Temple Street. Also, the Ladies Market is a 13-minute walk from here. Metros are a 7-minute walk from the hotel. Every possible bus stops nearby. The airport bus also stops at Nathan Hotel, across the street, a few minutes' walk from Asia Travel House. You need to know how to get there (described in other reviews): entrance to the lifts with a large signboard with something related to weddings above it. The rooms are small (13m2) but that seems to be how most people live in Hong Kong, as we have understood. Small bathroom but everything is there and well taken care of. Daily cleaning and towel change. Very kind, helpful host. Temporary luggage storage. Secure rooms with key card for main door and room door.

- • Upon arrival, there was cobweb under the bed and a large stain on the duvet itself (not the cover). Upon informing the host, everything was promptly rectified. There was only 1 lift in operation (out of 2, the other one under repair) which was constantly busy. We had to take the stairs down a few times.

- • The small room is furnished in the style of the 50s, located in a completely rundown high-rise building. Finding the reception is a matter of luck and some intuition. The signage and description are lacking - at least in English. We had a room without a window. There was an incredibly loud fan in a sealed window, which could not be opened. Really not recommended unless you just want to store your luggage. Price/performance ratio is not right. 4 points only because of the location. I did not expect that such a place still exists in Hong Kong.
Good budget-friendly option
For a guesthouse, it is one of the most correct in terms of value for money. The geographical location is very good. Continuous cleaning, towel change, and bed linen change throughout my stay, which is a real plus. The staff is very responsive to requests. I had lost my room card and it was quickly replaced at no extra cost. Having stayed in several guesthouses during previous visits, this is one that I would recommend when you want to control your budget and accept this kind of experience. Note that the rooms are often very small, so sometimes it's better to choose a slightly larger one to have enough space.

- • As is often the case in guesthouses, it's a bit complicated to find the 'reception' which is sometimes not on the same floor. Coupled with many guesthouses in the building, it makes things difficult.
