- • We booked this property as a legally married couple. At check-in, the staff examined and scanned our official Swedish marriage certificate, accepted our documents, and showed us to our room. A few minutes later, they knocked on our door and told us we had to leave because, as Yemenis, our marriage certificate supposedly needed to be certified by an Egyptian authority before we could stay together. This requirement was never mentioned before our arrival or in the property information. The situation was handled very poorly. One staff member was rude to my wife, and another told me that I could stay alone but not with her, despite us being legally married. Instead of canceling the reservation themselves after refusing to accommodate us, they instructed us to cancel it through Booking.com to receive a refund. We were then left to find another hotel while carrying our luggage. Regardless of any internal policy or local regulations, this should have been communicated before arrival and handled with professionalism and respect.
The facilities are very good. The bathroom has a strong water flow.
