- • The maintenance worker who dares to throw away my belongings. When I confront him the next day, he seems not to understand my anger and even smiles. I refrained from hitting him. On the day of my check-in, the parking attendant who refuses to let me enter with my car. He wanted me to park the car outside even though there is an internal parking and the complex is huge. Similarly, the one who accompanied us to the room upon our arrival tells us to park in one place and informs us that our room is opposite when our room is a 15-minute walk away (thanks for the walk under 40°C). Finally, the breakfast staff who almost mocks us. We order waffles with fruit and chocolate toppings. We are brought a plain waffle. I ask the waiter for the chocolate and he does not return. After 5 minutes, I ask another waiter for the chocolate, he returns 5-10 minutes later and jokingly tells us that there is none. Annoyed, I tell him that if there are missing ingredients, he should inform us before we place the order. At least 15 minutes later, as we were about to leave, he comes back with the chocolate and gives it to us. If this is not a joke, I don't know what it's called. I will never go back to this hotel.

- • The property is not professionally run, the systems are not set. Housekeeping, kitchens, room service, etc., nothing runs perfectly. Phone was down in one of the rooms we stayed in and the contact numbers were incorrectly mentioned. The staff is very ill-equipped to handle concerns and basic amenities are not found. I would definitely not recommend.
Very nice location, friendly staff, large property. Especially Sara and Hadeer were very helpful.

- • The decor was stylish and beautiful, but the amenities, especially the bathroom and doors, were poor. Poor quality and execution.

- • Few restaurants, long waits in the restaurant even though it was empty. Everything was complicated to get what we wanted. Yoga classes but no available instructor. The gym manager was not present to provide explanations.

We had a very lovely stay at Zen Wellness Resort in Aswan. From the warm welcome to the farewell, the whole team was incredibly friendly and made us feel very comfortable throughout the stay. The location is quite remote and far from the city center, but if you don’t mind commuting to the sights, it’s a very peaceful and relaxing place away from the hectic atmosphere of Aswan. The facilities were great, especially the gym. The room had everything we needed, housekeeping did a fantastic job every day, and breakfast was very enjoyable and had everything we were looking for. A special thank you to the entire staff — reception, housekeeping, and especially the breakfast team — for always being welcoming and smiling.

- • The only small downside for us was that the upselling of massages and treatments sometimes felt a little too pushy. Still, this was only a minor point and did not really affect what was otherwise a very enjoyable stay.
