- • Very disappointed with the reception and lack of hospitality. Upon arrival, we were told that the hotel was full when it seemed almost empty. A few minutes later, we booked a room on Booking in front of the establishment, and the reservation was immediately accepted. This kind of behavior gives a very bad first impression and does not reflect the welcoming values we expect from a hotel and the breakfast also was so bad, an Orange Juice with no taste of orange
We booked for 6 nights at over 300 euros, over 50 euros per night. When we arrived at 11:30, the room was not ready, 30 minutes later, we were told it's okay, we go up: room 12: the bed was made but the cleaning not at all! We had booked a 20 m2 room and that's not what we got. No bedside table... Don't imagine it's like in the photos. Dirty room, no cleaning done, bathroom never cleaned. The cleaning lady was insulting when we passed the broom and shook a carpet behind her passage because she said she was done in less than 2 minutes of being in our room. She started shouting throughout the riad: in her language, to the point that the young woman at the ground floor reception went up to the 3rd floor to see what was happening. The lady at the reception finally didn't say anything to us after entering our room to show her the unfinished bathroom and when we showed her that we had taken photos of the broom result that I had done myself. The next morning at breakfast, the cleaning lady: the oldest of the 2, the one who shouted the day before, refused to serve us, sent her colleague to take care of us. In the entrance, it is stated that you can buy water bottles and well there are none, you will find them elsewhere in the medina. Last point, don't expect to rest in the afternoon, doors constantly slamming, very noisy. Only positive point: in the center of the medina and the 2 very kind young women at the reception. We do not recommend this riad where the photos are misleading. We took our own photos if necessary for no ambiguity. At this price, we expected something better, better service, better reception. We ask for a refund.
