- • On arrival by walking across the footbridge it took me a while to find reception. There really needs to be more signs
Enjoyed!
Great view on the river side. Secure access was appreciated. Staff were excellent. Pompette French restaurant was divine. Will definitely eat there again.

- • Would have liked more towels in the bathroom. Two towels seemed skimpy. Also, you should have the hot breakfast menu available for everyone to see easily - not just as a handout. My partner loves congee but did not know it was available, so skipped breakfast! Also would be great if you could heat the pools more in winter. The pool near the sauna is like a wind tunnel.
Had continental breakfast - delicious and not too heavy. Rooms were spacious.

Buy new quality beds for Tower 1. This is unacceptable for a lovely five star hotel.
Average, 3-star buffet. Cold and not attended to, could not eat sausage or bacon. Disgusting and hard. Cold scrambled eggs on the first day. Attended to on Saturday. Sunday à la carte. Good.

- • We have stayed in Tower One and Tower 2 when finally opened. Tower 1 had unobstructed views Up the river to the west. The bed was appalling. We could not sleep on it. No sleep for the first night. It was like the mattress had been upturned. We had to move from Room 1261 to the room underneath 1161. Unacceptable. We barely slept for three nights, even though housekeeping added mattress toppers. Will not return until new beds are installed in Tower One. All staff tried to fix the problem. Such a shame!

Views, pools and service were all perfect and that’s what we came for.
