Magnificent place that needs serious attention
It is a magnificent old building. The location is sublime.

- • Everything is aging. The electricity does not work well with exposed wires in some places. The pool is not clean, the water is murky. The reception staff is not up to par. All of this does not match the prices charged. For example, the Imperial Hotel in Delhi is much better maintained and kept.
The fourth stay my wife & I made at Lake Palace Hotel was to celebrate our 64th wedding anniversary
We loved every moment of our stay there, particularly our arrival when we were welcomed with royal umbrellas & showers of rose petals, and our September 1 morning felicitation on the front terrace with the hotel staff and the mega 64th wedding anniversary cake they brought for us to jointly cut

- • In the cultural show, there was no light on the musicians as all the light was focused on the dancers. This should be corrected
We had a wonderful time, waited upon hand and foot by every member of the staff.
Breakfast is excellent, as is the wonderful, loving staff and location

The location was fantastic, dreamy. We had a room with a view of the City Palace, and it was wonderful! Comfortable room with all the amenities. A small-sized hotel, but with pleasant spaces. The staff is polite and helpful. Clean.

- • The breakfast buffet should have had a greater variety. Some parts of the building were poorly maintained.
