Beautiful stay in a jungle chic atmosphere
The aesthetics of the place. Retro chic jungle atmosphere. Magnificent pool, an oasis of freshness with this small garden and all the plantations that provide shade. The friendliness of the receptionist. Very good breakfast, fresh, healthy but in too small quantity. Very nice room, very clean. Quiet hotel with few rooms which gives a cozy atmosphere. Very easy and free parking. Safe location.

- • This is not a criticism but more of a recommendation because I knew it from reading other reviews. The hotel would benefit from offering a larger quantity for its breakfast.
Good hotel, relaxing
Very good stay, we were almost alone in the hotel, very friendly staff, classic fresh breakfast. Nice layout.

- • A lot of mosquitoes, or something else, would deserve to have more repellents to fight against them like the restaurants not very far away. Otherwise, nothing to complain about except that the Tulum area is not good in terms of network, good quality wifi in the hotel.
What a peaceful stay we had at the Tiki Tiki Hotel!
The staff is incredibly friendly, professional and helpful. They made us feel at home! We arrived earlier than expected and luckily the staff was able to accommodate us with our room ahead of schedule! Thank you for that! They’re also easily reachable via WhatsApp throughout your entire stay. Regarding the location: You are located quite close to Tulum’s center, we wouldn’t walk from the hotel to the city center but by car or collectivo you’re 5mins away. The neighborhood of La Veleta is very enjoyable to walk through, plenty of nice little restaurants, convenient stores, it was very quiet at the end of May. We had the common areas for ourselves during the entire stay! The pool is refreshing and the bar is also a plus if you want to have a drink after a long day of visiting. Breakfast: I’ve heard a lot of people complain about the breakfast but honestly this is all you need to start the day. The fruits are freshly cut, the juice freshly pressed, it’s healthy and it fills you quite well, don’t forget it’s already hot and humid out there so honestly we didn’t feel like eating too much in this weather. The WiFi works very well. No TV in the room and honestly we would’ve never needed one. Room and bed super cozy and comfortable. A/C works perfectly, and is quiet overnight. Drinkable water: You have to keep in mind that you have to manage your drinkable water supply for the bedroom. A jar is left in the room for you to use and fill up at the bar of the hotel if you need more drinkable water. For more convenience and also to not rely solely on the water available at the bar, we bought some packs of water at the corner store to be able to have some water for our many excursions. Tiki Tiki Hotel is definitely a gem on the edge of the heart of Tulum that is so much better in my opinion than staying at huge resorts. If you want some more intimate, relaxing and welcoming place to stay at, this is the one :) Special shout out to Nahama, Naomi & Julie!

- • I found the breakfast very simple: it consisted only of bread, fruits, jam, butter, and coffee, maybe it's from the Mexican culture and not necessarily a hotel flaw, but I missed proteins like eggs, ham, among others

- • Very limited breakfast with 1 orange juice, 2 pieces of bread, 1 coffee... Lacks a bit of flexibility in that regard.
