- • In the 4 days we stayed, they did not change the towels or replenish toilet paper.
A wonderful stay
The hostel has a wonderful and lovely view of Table Mountain. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Muji, from Bo Kaap Malay, does a very good job greeting the guests in the morning and taking care of everything. Breakfast is very good and the breakfast staff is very friendly. The bathroom and toilets were always clean during my stay! It was the best hostel I have stayed in Cape Town!

Unfortunately, I left early before having breakfast. However, spending the night was a great experience. The receptionist lady was welcoming and I spent some time with other guests, they were all friendly. In my opinion, I give the hotel a 5-star rating

Nice backpackers hotel
The atmosphere, the location. It gave us a real backpackers vibe. The breakfast is not very extensive but good and tasty. Standard double room with private shower/toilet (Bo Kaap room) is not very large. Bathroom is fine. The staff is very friendly and up for a chat. The hotel is well located in the Gardens district. You can easily go out for dinner in the evenings on foot. We felt safe there. Bo Kaap is close by. V&A Waterfront is easily accessible with Uber.
