Perfect apartment stay
Loved our stay here. The room is lovely with spectacular views of the mountain. The apartment has everything you could need including plenty of kitchen utensils and tea and coffee. The location is also great, you’re just out of main Queenstown but very close to all the shops, and to some lovely walking trails. The staff we bumped into were all lovely too, very happy to help and provide us with fresh towels etc. We were also lucky enough to be welcomed by Oscar the cat. He showed us round the room and in particular the fridge. As per the guestbook request, he may be persistent but don’t feed him. He is happy to settle on the sofa with you for a movie instead. Not a negative but just note that the pool is understandably closed in winter, it’s not overly clear when booking however. The rest of the facilities are open though.

This accommodation is near everything without the over inflated prices of Queenstown and Arrowtown. We were upgraded to the two bedroom apartment and it was fantastic. Beautiful property
The property and surroundings are gorgeous. Free mountain bikes to use while there and plenty of tracks to ride or walk john is very welcoming and generous with his time

Gorgeous location
Bed was so comfy, the outdoor area and location is stunning and so relaxing. Great little kitchen area not that we used it much.

- • TV was hard to use and couldn't get it to stream or connect. Upstairs room was noisy and not soundproofed so we were kept awake just with them walking around.
Super comfortable stay, very suitable for vacation
The mountain view is superb, the room is spacious, and there is a cat Oscar who is very affectionate and spiritual

Not a single fault.
Beautiful place. Gorgeous gardens. Comfortable accommodation. So clean and welcoming. Only stayed one night before flying out but very happy with everything. Took a moonlit walk and loved that torches and lamps were available in the reception for us.

Stunning location. So calm and relaxing but so close to so many things. Convenient and tranquil. Comfortable and spotless. Highly recommend a stay here.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Manata Homestead & Lodge. John is a super friendly and thoughtful host. The true star of the house is Oscar absolutely adorable and would come lie down right next to our legs while we relaxed. The apartment was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Stepping outside, we were greeted by a beautiful lawn, stunning mountain views, and total peace and quiet. We truly loved every moment here. Highly recommended!
