- • Inflated reviews, because for such a high price you expect a +- good level of accommodation and food, but you only get a big minus. Breakfasts are poor, we couldn't eat anything because the food is very basic, no choice and tasteless. They made us an omelet, it was cold and unpleasant. The room is already outdated and dusty in the corners. In the evening, there was pleasant live music, which is a plus. It's a pity that the hotel did not meet expectations from the pictures.

- • The noise from the street and the noise of rolling suitcases early in the morning in the hallways really prevent you from resting. This could be corrected by double glazing and a nice narrow carpet.

A truly beautiful and atmospheric property full of colonial charm and character. The design, courtyard
I honestly think the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful property at all. The whole colonial style of the hotel makes you feel like you are a heroine from a 1920s movie. Yes, the property was renovated quite a while ago, but somehow that does not spoil the atmosphere whatsoever — if anything, it adds even more charm and authenticity to the place. We absolutely loved the rooms, the design, the restaurant and especially the courtyard. The entire property feels incredibly atmospheric and elegant. The staff was amazing throughout our stay, and the food was genuinely great as well. If I had to mention anything that could be improved, I would say the pool area could use a little refresh, and the rooftop terrace was not really up to par with the rest of the hotel. However, honestly, we were not planning to use the rooftop anyway, so it was very easy to overlook considering how beautiful the overall experience was.
