Our stay at El Rio y Mar Resort was one of the absolute highlights of our trip. We were here for 10 days and felt completely comfortable from the first to the last day. The location is simply fantastic - in the middle of beautiful nature, right by the sea and surrounded by an incredible backdrop. Just the right place to unwind and experience a lot at the same time. There is something new to discover every day: hikes, free kayak and stand-up paddle board rental, the beautiful pool, and of course the beautiful house reef. Snorkeling there particularly impressed us. Another highlight was diving at the on-site Dive Center. We even had the luck to see a sea turtle! 🐢 Even in bad weather, it was never boring. Vanessa organized small activities for the guests, which we really enjoyed. It was also very nice to play volleyball together with the staff crew - we had an incredibly fun time and collected many beautiful memories. The staff is simply fantastic. Each and every employee was incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Upon arrival, you are greeted with a song, which makes you feel welcome right away. Our room was very nice and well-equipped. The entire facility is beautifully designed with a lot of attention to detail. The beach chairs are super comfortable and there are really nice, thick beach towels. We especially liked the basket in the room that you can take to the beach. The food was delicious every day with a great selection, also for vegetarians and vegans. Another plus is the commitment to animals. The resort is part of the Coron Animal Savers and supports the rescue of dogs and cats. We personally found this particularly nice. We enjoyed our 10 days here incredibly and would come back anytime.

Everything, there was nothing to complain about. Such a great time and over too quickly!

Our family recently stayed at El Rio Y Mar Resort in Coron, Palawan, and we can honestly say it was one of the most memorable vacations we’ve had. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The sunsets are breathtaking, and waking up to the sound of the waves with the cool morning breeze while enjoying coffee at the beachfront restaurant was simply priceless. From the moment we arrived, every staff member made us feel at home. They always greeted us with a cheerful “Mabuhay!” every time we crossed paths, which made our stay even more special. Everyone was warm, approachable, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. Our beachfront room was thoughtfully designed with a beautiful tropical theme. We loved the little touches, like the woven baskets that guests can use as beach bags, the mini abaca fan to keep cool, and the complimentary chilled drinks waiting for us in the refrigerator. The resort has plenty of activities and amenities for everyone. There are separate pools for kids and adults, a diving pool, paddle boards, surfboards, a volleyball area, and an air-conditioned indoor game room. You can also enjoy snorkeling, trekking, hiking, and many other activities. If you’d like to explore Coron, they also offer well-organized tour packages. The food deserves a special mention—it was outstanding! Every meal was delicious, and dinner was made even more enjoyable with live acoustic music. We were especially impressed when the musician sang a Japanese song after a Japanese guest requested it. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and before long, guests were singing and dancing together, creating such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Ms. Mikaela, who always greeted everyone with the biggest smile. She, along with the bartenders and the rest of the staff, made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. We’d also like to thank Ms. Janet, one of the resort’s partners/owners, for taking the time to chat with us.

La ubicación, el personal y la identidad del resort.

Herrlicher abgelegener Inselresort. Perfekt, wenn Sie sich entschleunigen und entspannen möchten. Sobald Sie auf der Insel sind, sind Sie ziemlich festgefahren, es sei denn, Sie organisieren einen Ausflug. Aber es gibt so viel zu tun auf der Insel. Das Schnorcheln war erstaunlich mit vielen Fischen und Riffen, es gibt Stand-up-Paddle-Boards zum Ausleihen und einen schönen Pool. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend. Es ist teurer als Sie für die Philippinen erwarten würden, also seien Sie bereit, etwas mehr zu zahlen. Es ist jedoch immer noch günstiger als das, was Sie normalerweise in Australien zahlen würden. Wir würden es trotzdem sehr empfehlen. Es war ein toller Abschluss unserer Flitterwochen.

Das Bett war das bequemste Bett, das wir auf unserer ganzen Reise hatten. Das Personal ist hervorragend, die Einrichtungen sind großartig und die Natur ist wunderbar. Auch wenn wir mitten im Super-Taifun waren, hatten wir eine tolle Zeit im Resort.

Fabelhaftes Essen (viele Auswahlmöglichkeiten, alles sehr köstlich), tolles Personal, Bequemlichkeit zum Tauchshop vor Ort, Zimmer und Betten sind komfortabel
