- • Standard check-in at 2 pm. We had asked for 3 pm then requested back to 2 pm with short notice & it wasn't possible (understandable). No offer to leave luggage. When we arrived at 3 pm, the accommodation was not ready. We got access to our cleaned room at 4 pm and the "apartment" cleaning continued for a further 40 minutes. We wanted to relax after a hot journey, not immediately possible. Accommodation layout is NOT clear when booking. We didn't realize there were shared facilities, the advertisement needs to be clearer - my error for not reading reviews. No real privacy & you hear everything from adjoining rooms & neighbors (including plumbing & lift). Rules ask for quiet after 2300 hours - it is a residential area, not possible. Main concern after being shown how to access the apartment was the ability that the apartment front door could be locked internally preventing the other apartment user(s) from getting in. Plus the ease in which the front door could reopen if not closed properly. We discovered our neighbors accidentally left the door open after returning and they had gone out - while you need a card to access our section/room this did not make us feel safe. I alerted Mary. Air conditioning is poor. Have yet to reply to the 0402 hours message that woke me up (should have turned off alerts!) reminding me of the checkout policy with keys & hoping I’d had a nice time. Thankfully it was a 1-night stay, otherwise would have relocated.
Wonderful!
The room was clean, tidy, and equipped with all possible services, and above all beautiful. The host was super kind and helpful, waited almost until midnight for my arrival and let me stay half an hour longer to leave.

Modern Room in Convenient Location
Great room with shared kitchen and dining area - all very modern and well-kept. Very convenient location about halfway between Pisa Centrale train station and the Duomo/Tower with lots of lovely restaurants and shops on your doorstep. Good for families with air conditioning and a lift up to the apartment.
