Very nice establishment, quiet, clean, well-maintained, and comfortable
Very nice establishment. Very comfortable, well-equipped, and very clean room. Friendly staff. When we were there, the hotel was almost empty of guests. We met an Italian couple at the restaurant, but no one else, so it was a bit strange and felt like being alone on the moon. Nevertheless, we had a very good stay at this establishment, short as we only stayed one night, but perfect for us.

Luxury family resort with stunning grounds
We had a wonderful stay at Azal Lagoon Resort in Abu Simbel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome by Safaa at reception, who went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed throughout our stay—thank you so much for your kindness and professionalism. The resort itself is only about a year old, and it really shows in the quality and design. The villas are among the most luxurious we’ve ever experienced—spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, they have a lift! It’s an ideal destination for families, with a very safe and relaxed environment for children, and it also works perfectly for larger travel groups. The buffet breakfast was especially impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit everyone. One thing to note is that the resort is about a 10-minute drive from the Abu Simbel temples, so walking isn’t really practical. However, transportation can easily be arranged through reception, which made everything very convenient for us. Lastly, the resort grounds and gardens deserve a special mention—they are absolutely stunning. The landscaping is vibrant, colorful, and meticulously maintained, creating a peaceful and visually beautiful atmosphere throughout the property.
