A truly fantastic stay in beautiful surroundings, hospitable hosts, and delicious breakfast - we will come again
The Woodland Lodge at Gisselfeld is a truly beautiful place surrounded by lovely nature, creating the perfect setting for peace and relaxation. The hosts are very hospitable and gave us a warm and welcoming reception from the very first moment. The breakfast was top-notch - really delicious and focusing on quality. All in all, a lovely stay - we will definitely come back.

All in all, a lovely stay - we will definitely come back.

- • The only thing we missed a bit was a more comfortable outdoor lounge area where one could sit softly and enjoy a cup of coffee in the cozy surroundings.
Atmospheric beautifully located accommodation with clean rustic rooms and (optional) delicious breakfast
The location in the middle of the forest is fantastic, a somewhat older (spacious building) but very clean and very atmospheric. We had the most spacious room, more like a suite, with a large and good bed and separate table and relaxation furniture. The breakfast was charged separately and was very extensive and delicious. The hostess was very accessible for questions and advice. The location is also very centrally located and therefore especially suitable for exploring the southernmost half of 'Zealand'.

- • A minor downside is that the bathrooms (2 available) in our case are shared. On the weekend, it was more crowded, so there could be a waiting time. However, the days after were quiet and not a problem. Some available rooms do have their own sink.

Charming old house, it took 1/2 hour to get the room, not so good with shared bathroom and toilet in the hallway.
