Nice quiet rooms, but with some drawbacks
Nice big rooms. Large windows overlooking the street let in a lot of daylight. At the same time, you hardly heard any noise from outside - noise isolation was top-notch. Beds were comfortable, bathroom looked good, and everything was clean.

- • Wifi was bad. Unfortunately, we only had cold water when showering. Breakfast was Pho from the street food stall across the street - it tasted good, but not comparable to the breakfast buffet from other hotels. We arrived early in the morning due to the night bus, but an earlier check-in was only possible at 50% of the room rate per night. Other hotels on our trip were more accommodating if the rooms were already available. Even two to three hours earlier, you still had to pay an (albeit lower) surcharge. So, if you don't want to pay extra, be aware that you can only check in at 2 pm. Overall, we had hoped for a bit more for the price and based on the photos.

- • Do not book any tours through this hotel. I paid $389 for the 'deluxe' package for the 4-day Ha Giang Loop, with private rooms. I was not told until I started the Loop that I was doing it alone with my driver. When booking, I specifically asked for a group tour as I am a solo female traveler. The accommodations were basic and not deluxe. The hotel is taking no responsibility and the agent I booked with has been difficult to deal with. Save your money and book activities
