The location is great! Right at the entrance to the old city, next to the picturesque gate. Walking distance to the lake and everywhere. There is excellent air conditioning in the room, and even though you need to take the card out when leaving, it cools down very quickly. The room is spacious and clean. The staff is very nice. Luke is really charming and made a great effort to help.

- • They supposedly upgraded me to a room with a view... No connection to the view shown in the pictures on Booking, in misleading language. It was important for me to have natural light, but the room's curtain was sealed and couldn't be rolled up, they promised to fix it, but it didn't happen. Luckily, I had laundry clips to hold the curtain up, which I forgot there. I asked for a blanket with a cover, it didn't happen, and I had to sleep with a blanket on the sheet... very unpleasant. On the last day, the room wasn't cleaned, turns out I needed to put something on the door handle, it was covered and I didn't know. Luke brought me towels when I returned and washed the cups for me.
Good location in the old quarter, nice staff, and comfortable bed

- • The hotel's location makes it quite noisy, and the rooms don't look like the photos posted! The bathroom is run down, with a low-pressure shower.
I recommend
The proximity to the center, the welcome from the young Lang, and the availability of the other staff.

Nice quiet rooms, although with some drawbacks
Nice large rooms. Large windows overlooking the street let in a lot of daylight. At the same time, you hardly noticed any noise from outside - noise insulation was great. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom looked good, and everything was clean.

- • Wifi was poor. Unfortunately, we only had cold water when showering. Breakfast was Pho from the street food stall across the street - it tasted good, but not comparable to breakfast buffets from other hotels. We arrived early in the morning due to the night bus arrival, but an early check-in was only possible at 50% of the room rate per night. Other hotels on our trip were more accommodating if the rooms were already available. Even two to three hours earlier, you still had to pay an (albeit lower) surcharge. So, if you don't want to pay extra, be aware that you can only check in at 2 pm. Overall, we had hoped for a bit more for the price and based on the photos.
