Delightful two nights
We had a very pleasant 2-night stay at B&B Plattestien. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly host, who took the time to explain everything patiently. The room was clean, spacious, and modern with comfortable beds. The accommodation was well-equipped with free wifi, air conditioning, a large TV, fridge, and microwave. There was a handy information folder on the table about the stay and the area, including great restaurant tips. The host also provided useful tips about the neighborhood. The location is very convenient: quiet, easily accessible with free parking right next to the B&B, and a 10-minute walk from the Hallerbos. In the morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with fresh bread from the bakery, toppings, fruit, and fresh juice. Definitely recommended for those looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay.

- • Honestly, our stay was almost perfect. If we have to be very strict and look at small details, there are two things: The room has a small garden where you can sit outside, but with only a half fence separating it from the neighbors. Personally, we prefer a bit more privacy, but our neighbors were quiet, so it was fine for us. If you have louder neighbors, it could be disturbing. Also, the last part of the (public) road to the B&B is poorly maintained and narrow. This is not the fault of the accommodation, but good to know for larger cars. They may need to take a detour. Apart from that, there was really nothing to complain about, and we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed in the Stienput house. The holiday home is very beautiful and tidy, with a kitchen fully equipped, a comfortable bed, and a nice terrace with a beautiful view! The super sweet owners make everything complete.

A quiet and very comfortable B&B where you can relax.
It was a lovely well-cared-for B&B. We stayed in the Stienhut. A nice apartment with a beautiful view over the fields and the Hallerbos in the distance. Sitting on the terrace overlooking our little garden, we enjoyed the birds and the sun! We booked the breakfast, which was excellent, with tasty and extensive products so we could take extra rolls for lunch every day. Marc, one of the two owners who mainly runs the B&B, was always willing to tell us about the area. You can feel that he runs the B&B with all his heart and enjoys it a lot. All in all, a delightful stay and worth repeating.

- • If you want to cycle, an electric bike is highly recommended because it is very hilly with sometimes poor and narrow cycle paths. That was a bit disappointing for us, but the area is beautiful and there is plenty to do.
Total disconnection, restful sleep, and a well-filled stomach
The owner, Marc, is very attentive. The new room is clean, with its terrace. The excellent breakfast served in the room.
