We felt like we were “at home” in this tranquil, beautiful house.

- • Abit far from the center and the beach, but easy to get transportation using motortaxi or taxi from the avenue. If you don’t like insects choose another room than the one in the garden.

- • Unfortunately, our experience at this boutique hotel did not match what was advertised online. The photos appear to be heavily enhanced and do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. The location also did not feel ideal to us, and we were not comfortable in the surrounding area. The entrance had multiple industrial padlocks, which gave us concerns about overall safety. Within the first 30 minutes of arrival, we decided to leave and book another hotel. The grounds were not well maintained as shown in the photos. The pool and hot tub did not appear to be properly cleaned or serviced. Our room had a strong chemical odor, and the sheets and towels appeared worn and dingy. In the bathroom, there were multiple lizards/iguanas visible on the walls, which was very unsettling. We were also surprised to find that there was a shared refrigerator for all guests, which was not clearly communicated beforehand. One additional note: the property has several very high ratings online, but our experience was very different. Interestingly, shortly after we left, a new 10-star review appeared, which made the overall rating feel a bit inconsistent with what we encountered. While the host/owner was kind and welcoming, the overall experience did not meet our expectations based on the listing. This property may work for travelers looking for a very budget-friendly stay and who are comfortable with more rustic or communal conditions—but it was not the right fit for us.
Beautiful authentic small-scale resort
Beautiful resort with a lovely garden and pool. Nice breakfast, but just not enough for us, additional items available for an extra charge. Beautiful authentically Mexican decorated house.
