Perfect
Everything is perfect. Exceptional welcome, you feel at home. We had booked the 2 rooms for our family. They are spacious, bright, and impeccably clean. The breakfasts are excellent, with homemade jams and cakes. Everything was prepared for us to have our breakfast independently. The quantities allowed us to make sandwiches for days of long hikes. A fridge is available to guests as well as drinks, just write down what you take to settle at the end of the stay. Rossana and Eduardo are lovely and make the stay very pleasant. The location is in a quiet street in the heart of the historic center. Easy parking on the street. The central location is ideal for visiting the island.

Fantastic accommodation with very hospitable owners
Very friendly hosts, very large and clean room with a small balcony where you can admire the great sunset over the sea. The large breakfast is delicious and everything is lovingly prepared. There is even homemade cake and jam every day. The central location on the island and in the village is perfect. The city beach is also very nice and easy to reach by car. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much. Many thanks for the wonderful week in your fantastic house!

- • There is nothing there. Except maybe the poor neighbor's dog, who is left alone all the time and therefore barks out of boredom. But with the bathroom window closed, it didn't bother us. Instead, we opened the other 2 windows. (I told you, it's very large ;-)

The perfect place to stay in Ribeira Grande!
The breakfast was fantastic. Every morning there were homemade jams and freshly baked cakes. Rossana and Eduardo prepared the breakfast very lovingly, so you could have it comfortably and flexibly if you wanted.

Had the most wonderful stay. We wish we could have spent every night at the Matriz Guest House.
Large room, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, delicious breakfast, wonderful hostess, great location, excellent communication.

Parking in front of the accommodation, very good breakfast with homemade jams/honey, ham, cheese, yogurt, muesli, orange juice, coffee, tea, pastries, cakes, ..., very clean, friendly hostess, balcony, refrigerator to cool things, possibility to buy shots, beer, wine, jams at the accommodation

Great accommodation, well located, very, very friendly owners.
The location of the accommodation is well situated. The rooms are well furnished. The only thing that could be criticized is that the double bed was a bit small (probably max 140cm wide). It would have been desirable if it had been a bit wider. Everything is very lovingly prepared by Rossana and Eduardo. The breakfast is very rich. We lacked nothing. Many thanks Rossana and Eduardo for the hospitality.
