Great!
It was a nice experience staying at Ridge House. The property is so comfortable and the highlight is the hot tub! Unfortunately, the staff forgot to prepare it on the second day of my stay. Despite this staff mistake, I strongly recommend the property.

Phenomenal
Phenomenal is an understatement. A huge ocean-view room with a freestanding bathtub, a very comfortable bed with a fireplace in the room. Excellent welcome and help in choosing availability for a sea trip for whale watching.

Great relaxation weekend but overpriced.
Ridge House is a wonderful space to relax in Hermanus. Not too far from the central area, but far enough to experience the quiet suburbs. The hot tub is a major win, especially with the views of Hermanus and the sea. The in-house fireplace was lovely! The hot tub was filled and heated prior to arrival, this was amazing, and we always had enough wood. The breakfast is great, and the staff are so friendly - they even organized a birthday cake for my wife! The bed is super comfortable and quite big, and the shower is fantastic. Safety and parking were not an issue at all.

- • We feel that our stay at Ridge House was overpriced, for several reasons. We have stayed at many places that were not as expensive / similar pricing, but that were a more premium experience. Although Ridge House is not premium, but the price is. Having said that, the staff are premium! There is no TV, and the WiFi at times was patchy. When asked about the WiFi, Linda noted that this is an issue in Hermanus. The curtains had patches of dirt, and let in a lot of light in the morning.
Incredible. The perfect stay in Hermanus. Relaxing, cozy, delicious breakfast, the kindest hosts - we absolutely loved it.
Gorgeous, clean and comfortable space - everything you could possibly need, plus the wood-fired hot tub is an incredible amenity and so much fun!
