Home away from home. Best guest house we stayed in during our two weeks trip
Everything. The kitchen with dedicated fridges for each room. The ability to prepare your own breakfast. Fresh fruit daily. Clean rooms, bathrooms, everything were spotless

Very pleasant
Super clean! I need to repack my 2 suitcases for going home and had lots of room to repack and felt good putting my packing cubes on the floor. Only about 15 minutes and an easy drive by car to lots of restaurants in Swords.

Mount Barker is a very welcoming and charming property. It had impressed us from the photos and, once we arrived, our expectations were fully met. The location is excellent, especially due to its proximity to the airport, which allowed us to organize our return calmly and without any rush. The owners were really kind and friendly. One morning, while having breakfast, a small dishwasher malfunction occurred, something that can happen easily. In a short time, a technician arrived and fixed the problem, without causing us any inconvenience. Nevertheless, the owners wanted to apologize by surprising us with a bottle of Prosecco: a very appreciated, kind, and absolutely not necessary gesture. It was truly the icing on the cake of a very pleasant stay.

Wonderful stay! Large, comfortable and well-appointed room with a very comfortable bed. Gillian was a perfect host -- very welcoming and happy to help in any way. Great location if you want to be out of the city and in the countryside -- yet within easy reach of the M1 motorway. Express buses to Dublin from bus stop round the corner.

Everything was perfect. Wonderful owners, smiling, helpful, caring. Clean beautiful spaces. Breakfast available. Great spacious kitchen and dining room. Close to the airport - 7 minutes by car. Parking without problems. A link bus to the center of Dublin takes almost an hour, but it stops close to the house. Or take the Swords Express, about 20 minutes and then a taxi for 10 EUR to the house. Even at night, it's often without any problems. We would definitely come back here if we were to visit Ireland again.

Bedroom and bathroom worthy of a nice hotel in terms of comfort and space. Well-equipped kitchen and generous breakfast foods. Gillian takes great care of her guests. I highly recommend!
