- • At my level and during my 5-day stay, I think I would return with pleasure and without hesitation to DAR ONTONIO.
For our first time in the blue town. The proximity is within the medina, impossible to get lost. The riad bears the owner's name... the owner is always attentive if you need anything... a great and magnificent person. The riad is decorated like an Arab house with its interior courtyard where the upper floors are accessed, it has a common lounge and a terrace. In the quadruple room where we stayed, it was great to rest even though it doesn't have air conditioning, it's not necessary as freshness enters through the small windows it has, in addition to its own bathroom... but on a lower floor, our great surprise was that it has a cave where you can also shower and relax... even though this bathroom is common, it does not coincide with people for their use and enjoyment of the shower...

In the center of the blue city
Beautiful riad in the center, beautiful and well-kept structure, Antonio super kind and caring. Beautiful terrace with a view. Shower in the stone very suggestive. Highly recommended for a visit to the city.

- • Antonio seems like a friendly guy. He told me he would help with anything he could. There is a kitchen, but the coffee maker is placed on the top shelf, difficult or impossible to reach. The most important thing in this kitchen was not even a light to prepare hot water. Every time I needed to ask him to lend me the light. He lent it to me reluctantly. The second time, he chose to ignore me. A light only costs very little, why does he not place it in the kitchen to make everything convenient? I did not understand. Oh, he doesn’t like the guests to use the kitchen! But of course, if you ask something related to tourism, he will find you a driver, or a salesperson of clothing, art, anything related to business. I found it extremely uncomfortable in this hostel. There were eyes watching you every minute when you are in the hotel.

- • I chose this hotel because of the friendly host Antonio. When I asked Antonio where to find a traditional bean soup? He replied it was closed. And when it will be open again and where it is located. No further info. It is so different from all the common people have left on booking. Antonio is a host with more than 10 years of experience in Chefchaouen with an extraordinarily high score of 9 on booking. Why is he so different? Oh, because I did not ask where the good restaurants are? So he can walk you to one of the tourist cafes in the plaza. I did not ask how to find private transport to another city, so he can get a commission for the connection. I found an answer.
