Nice stay
Nice room, with electric blankets ;-). Clean, well thought out. Large communal living room. With fridge, coffee/tea. We also had a private area to sit outside. View over Betty's Bay. In the evening you can hear the sea.

Beautiful views and a relaxing stay!
My husband and I have stayed at The Trailhouse twice now and we love the open space with beautiful views on both sides (mountain and sea view). We also love the balconies and have enjoyed braaing using the Weber. Our most recent stay was a cosy winter getaway and the space was perfect to spend the day playing games, building puzzles and enjoying the beautiful views through the big glass windows.

- • We have nothing bad to say about the place, just 2 small things that might be worth noting: you do hear a little bit of car noise from the big road that is close by, and when it is very windy it can be quite loud inside.
Best of both.
The views were exceptional and we felt immediately at home. Perfect spot for venturing out for the day to explore, but also comfortable and inviting if you want to stay in and soak in the views.

We loved it, would have wanted to stay longer and the host made us feel very welcome

Booking.com does not advertise the rooms correctly, I wanted the room upstairs the pics I saw showed that room, the room we got was not the one that was advertised, I blame Booking.com not Fransel, advertise the rooms correctly

I liked the view of the mountain and you can see the ocean from the dining room. The fireplace in the dining room was super nice.

- • It was just very cold. An oil heater or gas heater will make the stay easier.
