Home away from home
The property was an absolute value for money. Very close to the highway with easy access to restaurants and a gas stations. Breathtaking views of the mountains from outside. The lady that manages the property is very welcoming and ensures that you are well taken care of

The host was friendly, welcoming & helpful. It was a cosy room on a very windy night with an electric blanket on the bed. The host even laid out a fire for us in the sitting room.

Les vues superbes sur la montagne et la mer. La réserve de manchots à 5 min en voiture. La gentillesse de la propriétaire. La petite cuisine à disposition.

- • Il faisait froid dans la chambre (heureusement qu'il y avait la couverture chauffante). Nous n'avons pas réussi à faire marcher la cheminée, elle a enfumé toute la pièce commune.

Fijne kamer, met elektronische dekens ;-). Schoon, met aandacht over na gedacht. Grote gemeenschappelijke woonkamer. Met koelkast, koffie/thee. We hadden ook een privé stuk om buiten te zitten. Uitzicht over Betty'sbaai. In de avond hoor je de zee.

Beautiful views and a relaxing stay!
My husband and I have stayed at The Trailhouse twice now and we love the open space with beautiful views on both sides (mountain and sea view). We also love the balconies and have enjoyed braaing using the Weber. Our most recent stay was a cosy winter getaway and the space was perfect to spend the day playing games, building puzzles and enjoying the beautiful views through the big glass windows.

- • We have nothing bad to say about the place, just 2 small things that might be worth noting: you do hear a little bit of car noise from the big road that is close by, and when it is very windy it can be quite loud inside.
