- • It takes a bit for the air conditioning to cool down the room but the room is also large with plenty of space :-)

About 20 minutes from Labuan Bajo we found a family of very kind and super helpful artists. Beautiful rooms full of paintings and artworks.

Great disappointment
The girl who manages and cleans it is lovely. Lucky for her because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to sleep in the reserved room

- • We arrived and they had given our room (reserved for months) to other guests. There were 3 of us and they needed that room, which was the big one, to be able to put an extra bed. They wanted us to sleep in a very small room, all three in a normal double bed. The man refused to give us the room, and also told us that an extra bed couldn't be placed in the big one either. He offered us to leave and return half of the money. After more than two hours of arguing, they agreed to give us the room we had reserved. And inside there were 3 mattresses (meaning the possibility of up to 3 extra beds...). The photos of the exterior do not correspond to anything in front, a space full of motorcycles. The inside is clean and the beds comfortable, but the place is austere, no furniture, no sink, the walls need painting, the shower hardly drips. There is quite a bit of noise at night, not only from the road but also from the neighbors. It is located along a road where there is nothing but shacks, far enough from Labuan to have no services at hand, but without being in the middle of nature either. It is better to stay in Labuan Bajo itself.
