Nice place perfect to discover the area, with the help of the owner.
The welcome, the site near the Nile, the cleanliness of the rooms and the food. The owner helps us by organizing transfers and visits, even before our arrival. We enjoyed visiting the island with Mustapha who speaks French.

Kafana is super
The owner went above and beyond to help us all the way with coming and going to the island, booking tours and making sure anything we needed was taken care of. Super nice guy, very friendly staff, great experience!

I loved being on Elephantine island away from the noise, but still convenient to everything I wanted to do. Cafes, shopping, etc. tours. The guesthouse provides their boat to take you anywhere you want to go, the food is very good especially the tagine and complimentary Nubian breakfast w/ fruit, eggs, bread, etc. Mohamed took excellent care of me touring me around the Nubian island which is a lovely boat ride, lots of shops, with handmade local arts and crafts, cafes, hotels, etc. Lots of camels in this village which is fun to see or ride. Mohamed knows everything and everyone, everywhere in Aswan. All the staff at Kafana were above and beyond good service.

Quiet location on the west bank of Elephantine Island, beautiful view of the desert, the flower island, and the Nile! Kafana is a reliable host who takes care of his guests and helped us organize our activities. Quality dinner and breakfast. We had an excellent stay!

I highly recommend
Seriously, I rarely comment, we were received as if we were family, they helped us organize several activities and followed up directly to make sure we had no problems, and seriously the prices were very good. We ate on site 2 times and it was delicious. He did not want payment until the end of our stay to our great concern and when it was time to settle the bills, it was just the same as we thought there were missing things. He wanted us to enjoy our stay and it was very successful. I highly recommend. Attention... very mischievous, Pat from Quebec

Friendliness, good location, and good value for money
Well-located accommodation on the banks of the Nile River overlooking the Botanical Garden Island of Aswan. The staff was very friendly, especially the host, Mr. Kafana, who was very helpful in assisting with tours and arrival and departure trips. The food at the accommodation was equally delicious

The simplistic and very friendly atmosphere. The manager is attentive to us, the location is great and very quiet!! No city noise. Precious help to meet your requests for all activities, driver, and others. Thanks again for your welcome, a must in Aswan!! Thank you

The scenery is beautiful, and you can reach the city center very quickly by public ferry. The staff at Kafana are all incredibly friendly.
