I really liked the location and the hotel staff, who always helped with any questions. The hotel staff is excellent. Tasty breakfasts, and I also liked the design of the hotel itself (beautifully decorated with national motifs).

- • I didn't quite like the shower and toilet in the room - the sink was leaking a bit, and there was not much space for the shower. The room itself was spacious.

Very well located, it's magical to sleep on this island. The rooftop is a real plus for breakfast. Private boat transfer at night managed on-site and takeaway breakfast offered.

- • The bathroom with a bathtub was shared. No washing machine as indicated.
The setting is beautiful, the hotel's geographical location on the island (Kitchener Island side) allows you to be protected from the noise coming from Aswan. The island is calm and the residents are welcoming. We were much less solicited than in the city. Amjad was great, attentive, and available to us. He advised us on places to see and took us on a boat ride on the Nile at sunset, it was great! Always attentive, he allowed us to fully enjoy our stay!

- • There was no water in the private shower, we had to use the shared bathroom. The hotel is not very clean...
Peaceful stay
Very calm, peaceful, and close to the ferry (5 minutes walk). It's a very nice place, away from the noise and honking of the city. You can also have dinner for a very cheap price, and it's really delicious. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I recommend it 100%.

Very good welcome, if you want to relax in Nubian style, it's perfect! They can arrange tours in very good conditions. Breakfast is very good. Thank you very much!

It was a very beautiful experience in the place, I really loved it.
The place is really excellent, the view is wonderful, and Amjad who welcomed us is the kindest and most beautiful person in all of Aswan. The rooms are clean.

Fantastic location, beautiful view from the balcony, there is a terrace on the roof with a breathtaking view, friendly and helpful staff with a positive attitude, very good place, I recommend it to travelers who love nature and a lot of walking, this place is the gem of Elephantine Island, I recommend it 1000%.

It was a relaxing week, away from the urban traffic of Aswan.
El Prince Guesthouse is very well located on the banks of the Nile in the very calm Elephantine Island. The room and especially the terrace offer a very beautiful view of the Nile. Breakfast and meals are plentiful. Access to Aswan is very easy by the public ferry (50 pounds). Our host Amgad is very pleasant and available. He organized a visit to Abu Simbel for 25 euros (ferry and minibus). Upon request, he can also take you to islands (Sehel) or other excursions on the Nile with his motorboat. We particularly enjoyed the visit to the Coptic monastery of St. Simeon, which allows for a walk in the desert to the tombs of the nobles north of Aswan (western side of the Nile). It was a relaxing week, away from the urban traffic of Aswan.
