Perfect stay with beautiful room great hostess.
What a great stay. Very nice location outside Ohrigstad with views of the farmlands and beautiful garden. Large, spacious room with a lovely bed and very spacious bathroom. Delicious dinner prepared by Dareen, the hostess, who even lit a campfire outside so I could dine under the stars. Was joined by two very friendly South African citrus fruit buyers, making it an unexpectedly enjoyable evening with shared stories. Great breakfast and a shame I could only stay one night there. What a beautiful place and what a beautiful surroundings. Hope to stay there again on a future trip towards Kruger Park, but for more than 1 night.

- • Absolutely nothing they could improve. The road from the four-lane road is very bad in places with large potholes, so driving there in the evening is not recommended.

Beautifully and comfortably furnished. Daleen made us feel right at home from the moment we booked. No major detour needed to get to this quiet and tranquil spot - with a magnificent and romantic dinner laid on alongside the open-air fireplace. Delivered more than we expected and set us up for the final leg of our journey. Thank you!

Perfect for a stopover like us
It was the perfect starting point to do the Panorama Route and I'm glad we stayed here for 2 nights, we could completely relax, Maleen and her team really spoiled us with a warm welcome, delicious meals, and a blissful campfire. Top location!!!

Fantastic, absolutely do it.
Very spacious rooms, great view, beautifully decorated accommodation, delicious dinner and breakfast, fantastic welcome by owner Daleen and farewell with a hug. Definitely stay here on your journey towards Kruger Park.

A fantastic and very clean accommodation. Darleen is an extremely courteous and friendly hostess. We received many tips for activities along the Panorama Route. The dinner by the campfire was excellent. Thank you Darleen for the great time.

House in the countryside
Very spacious and nicely decorated house. The welcome was of very good quality and friendly, Daleen gave us lots of information about the region, she was really very available, we particularly enjoyed the dinner in the garden around the brazier.

You can choose between a breakfast for an additional fee or a free simple breakfast. The latter was perfect for us as a EU continental family. Dinner can be booked on request and was the best we had during our three-week stay in South Africa. The place was super cozy for us and our two kids, ages 11 and 13. It's right in the middle of the Panorama Route, and we spent two full days enjoying the gorgeous views and sights. Beautiful garden where you can enjoy walking around, plus a magnificent terrace where you can sit in the morning and afternoon. After booking, there was clear communication about what time we were expected, etc. The rooms are furnished with great attention to detail and comfort. The beds were wonderful and the luxurious bathroom had a shower and bath with hot water. As we were traveling in winter and the accommodation is located at a high altitude, there was a good fireplace with plenty of wood to keep the room at a comfortable temperature. The owner was wonderful. Many thanks!
