A wonderful location from which to explore Sintra, Lisbon and the many places of interest.

Overall, the property is fantastic as was our host and his colleagues. We were made very welcome on arriving and looked after very well during the week of our stay. It was highly appreciated. The location of Vila Município is excellent for reaching restaurants, travel hubs (train station, buses, tram, Tuk-tuks), shops & is within walking distance of the main tourist section of Sintra, which has an incredible selection of shops, restaurants, bars and places of interest to visit. There's also a fantastic taverna situated right next door, which opens between 10am-5pm. Coffee & breakfast there is a must. The property itself is extremely well built and maintained. It's a one-bedroom ground floor apartment, with a small bathroom (shower), kitchenette and living room. It also has a small courtyard which is lovely to sit in when you either want more sun (morning/early afternoon) or less sun (late afternoon). Our stay at Vila Municipio was a lovely experience & is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a quality, value-for-money place to stay in Sintra.

We loved staying in Sintra to enjoy not only the palaces and gardens, but also its nightlife. The accommodation was comfortable to walk from there. We could unload the suitcases and then park the car not far away. The reception by Mrs. Maria was a 10. The apartment was very clean, new and very nice. We had everything we needed. An excellent rest without noise or inconvenience. And a detail the pastries and wine they left us ❤️. We would repeat without hesitation.

A wonderful place. Rui's kindness, always attentive and with recommendations for us to have an incredible stay. The apartment was very well decorated, there was a lot of tranquility and we felt at home! When we return to Sintra, we will definitely return, I would recommend it 100%

Our stay at Vila Município - Urban Chic was absolutely fantastic, and easily one of the best experiences we had during our trip. The apartment itself is beautiful - stylishly designed, spacious, incredibly comfortable, and absolutely spotless. We stayed there as a couple and had more than enough space to feel completely at home. Everything was very well thought out and worked perfectly, from the air conditioning to the coffee machine. The kitchen was also exceptionally well equipped, with everything we could possibly need during our stay. The location is excellent and very convenient for exploring Sintra. Check-in could not have been smoother. Rui came to welcome us personally as soon as we arrived, so there was absolutely no waiting. He showed us around the apartment, explained everything we needed to know, and made us feel welcome from the very first moment. We were also greeted with a wonderful welcome gift - a local delicacy and a bottle of wine, which was such a thoughtful and lovely touch. What made our stay truly exceptional, however, was Rui himself. He was incredibly kind, attentive and responsive during our stay, always answering our questions almost immediately. Every day, he shared local tips and recommendations with us, and they were genuinely fantastic. Some of the places we visited based on his suggestions ended up being among our absolute favourites of the entire trip. We even planned parts of our days with his recommendations in mind and I would strongly encourage anyone staying here to take advantage of his local knowledge. What says the most about Rui is that his kindness didn't end when our stay did. After we had already left Sintra and were staying elsewhere, I contacted him because it was my partner's birthday and I was looking for somewhere special to celebrate in Lisbon. Rui was still more than happy to help and sent me several wonderful restaurant recommendations. We followed his advice once again, and the place was phenomenal.
