Small but perfectly formed
Fabulous apartment with absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable visit to Belgium. Spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment is conveniently located between the railway station (bus or 20 minute walk through a park) and the historical centre (bus or around 15 minute walk). We were given a town map and Dirk took his time telling us where historical sights, shops and bakeries were which was very helpful. Based on the map we did our own tour of Gent. It is easy to get a train to Brussels, Bruges and Antwerp. Parking is very easy - around 200 metres from the apartment there is an underground car park - payable on exit. You can park outside the apartment for 20 minutes, free, just to unload your luggage.

Awesome stay!! One of the best booking place in my entire life. So clean, well designed and equipped. Dirk was a marvelous host!

Lovely sunny stay
The apartment was very neat. There was an elevator which was very convenient for the third floor. You had everything available with a small balcony. With the heat, it was very nice that you had air conditioning and sunshades. You are on the edge of the center which is a nice walk. At the end of the street, there were a number of supermarkets and plenty of places to eat.

Great location for exploring Ghent and beyond
Dirk, the host was very kind greeting us on a Sunday afternoon. He was very enthusiastic about Ghent and has all sorts of books and maps of the area. The suite is very very well designed and decorated. It is near the university so there is a number of small inexpensive places to eat and a number of pubs. The old part of Ghent is about 20 minute walk or a short bus ride. We really enjoyed our stay.

- • We liked everything! It was 20 minutes walk to the station and 20 minutes to the centre - but there are public transport options.
