Friendly and comfortable clean modern apartment
1. The contact and communication with the landlord was very smooth. After booking, I inquired about luggage storage, and on the day of check-in, the landlord personally received us and allowed us to check in early, which was really great. The landlord also gave us detailed information about nearby attractions, supermarkets, and other practical information, making it easier for us to explore Ghent. 2. The apartment is located on the third floor with an elevator for use, saving the trouble of carrying luggage upstairs. The apartment is clean, comfortable, well-equipped inside, and there are travel information and books to read. The landlord also provided fruits, Ghent nose candies, and sparkling wine, really attentive to welcoming every guest. 3. Preparing meals in the kitchen and enjoying the view outside the window is delightful. The landlord also provided a can of water mint for making tea picked by the river, the tea strainer is super beautiful, showing great taste. 4. When returning the keys, the landlord even wrote a small card for us, really super thoughtful, the best landlord encountered on this trip 👍

Heerlijk zonnig verblijf
Great little apartment. Attention to detail with books. A coffee machine with refillable pods. Nice toiletries. And the location, a lovely suburb with cafes and bars.

Small but perfectly formed
Fabulous apartment with absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable visit to Belgium. Spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is conveniently located between the railway station (bus or 20-minute walk through a park) and the historical center (bus or around 15-minute walk). We were given a town map and Dirk took his time telling us where historical sights, shops, and bakeries were, which was very helpful. Based on the map, we did our own tour of Ghent. It is easy to get a train to Brussels, Bruges, and Antwerp. Parking is very easy - around 200 meters from the apartment there is an underground car park - payable on exit. You can park outside the apartment for 20 minutes, free, just to unload your luggage.

Delightful sunny stay
The apartment was very tidy. There was an elevator, which was very convenient for the third floor. You had everything available with a small balcony. With the heat, it was very nice to have air conditioning and sunshades. You are on the edge of the center, which makes for a nice walk. At the end of the street, there were several supermarkets and plenty of places to eat.

Dirk, the host, was very kind greeting us on a Sunday afternoon. He was very enthusiastic about Ghent and has all sorts of books and maps of the area. The suite is very well designed and decorated. It is near the university, so there are a number of small inexpensive places to eat and a number of pubs. The old part of Ghent is about a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride. We really enjoyed our stay.
