An excellent hostel in Rio
Certainly one of the best hostels I stayed at in Rio. Well-equipped facilities, individualized room/kitchen/bathroom. Excellent service from Eduardo, Estela, and Bia. Wonderful view from the terrace.

Staying here was a wonderful experience! It has a great view because it's at the top of a hill in a favela, not a dangerous favela though, everyone in the area I interacted with were nice and helpful! It's a cool place to experience the narrow winding walkways typical of a Brazilian favela, this is a favela movies have been filmed in. Plus the host was great! I'd love to stay here again if I return to Rio.

I loved staying in the community, felt very welcomed. The hostel has a beautiful view, great sunrises, highly recommend it.

The host was very polite and helpful, explained everything properly! The room and stay were very peaceful! When I arrived, I got scared because I saw the BOPE and it was my first time staying in a community! But it's calm, no one bothers you or anything!

- • The only difficulty is the location for Uber to come up, many don't accept! However, there are vans and motorcycles that take you down for $3 and up for $5, and I used them many times, it was very easy!
