- • I had the impression that there were drug exchanges... just be careful for your safety and that of the hosts.

Perfect place to stay
The hostel is perfectly located, in the center of Izola, while being calm (by bus, it is only 25 min to Piran). It has a kitchen with all equipment needed to cook. Everything was clean and Uroš from the hostel team is friendly and welcoming. I really liked this place :)

The staff was very welcoming, there was a great atmosphere, it was clean and the location was in the heart of the center. They also offer additional services such as washing clothes and bike rentals.

The landlord was very kind and friendly, she helped me a lot. The bed was cozy.

I am not even objective anymore. I just love this place, Majda and her son Uros are beautiful people, the location is fabulous… This is my coastal second home 🙏

A relaxing, homely inn.
Less than 5 minutes walk from the bus stop. The supermarket is right in front of the bus stop. Above all, it has a family-run homely atmosphere. I was assisted by Majda, the mother (probably) in place of her son who usually manages. She is very cheerful and kind. She lent me a towel for free. She is fluent in English and seems to be proficient in Italian as well. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped for one person to cook.

- • Not much. This time, there were only 3 people in a 6-person room, but if it's full, it might feel a bit cramped.

- • Make sure you park in the right lot, otherwise, it's expensive
It was really close to everything in the town and conveniently placed for the orange wine festival around the corner. Our hosts were also really helpful!!

- • The wooden floors and steps are a bit loud for light sleepers, and the bathrooms were quite busy. It's a hostel so you get what you pay for. Couldn't ask for a better hostel though!
