This is a must visit if you are in Aswan. Great owner and staff - and comfortable beds. The biggest plus is the chilling area rights besides the river.

Chill hostel by the Nile
The hostel is really nice to get out of the city center chaos while still being very close (10 min walk) from anything you need. The common area down by the Nile is great to chill, swim and kayak if you want. The host gave great information and tips regarding how to visit different temples/sites that saved me time for sure. Thanks!

- • The room's floor could perhaps be cleaned more often.
Perfect, this is my favorite hostel since I started traveling, like home, I didn't want to leave at all in the end

Ideal location, very good value for money.
A lovely location, right on the Nile and in a Nubian Village, the rooms are lovely and very good value for money. I organised a trip to Abu Simbel through them for a very good price. The Nubian children are absolutely delightful.

- • Unfortunately it was quite hard to find staff, they don’t seem to be very present - I was also unable to get Breakfast any of the days I was there, as it either started much later than advertised or I couldn’t find anyone to ask where it was.
I looooved this place! It felt like we were staying in "real Egypt", in a residential neighborhood, instead of a touristy place. Everyone in the community was super nice and chilled and to be able to swim in the Nile was incredible
