- • Access, especially after rainfall, is difficult on an unpaved road without an all-wheel-drive vehicle. A door or at least a curtain separating the bathroom/toilet from the sleeping area would be highly desirable (Lodge #4).

We had a pleasant stay but would have preferred to be better informed about the facilities.

- • Very few cooking facilities in the accommodations, no utensils for braai, no trash can, no table to eat in the bungalows. A picnic area is available next to the restaurant but there is no light and no staff on-site after 4:30 pm. The hosts tried to respond to our requests remotely but they certainly lacked on-site staff.
The accommodation is beautifully situated idyllically by the river. The cabins also have style and are nicely furnished. The Blyde River Canyon is quickly accessible from here. Good value for money. We would stay here again.

- • The shower was not great. It is difficult to regulate the temperature (either hot or cold) and the water had little pressure. The light in the bathroom was poor. WiFi was only available in the common area and not in the cabins.
