Westmoreland Lodge is the epitome of South African hospitality.
This was a return visit as it was the SA JKA National tournament 2026 at Ellis Park Indoor Arena. Last year we attended the same tournament and our stay was excellent, so we decided to stay again. I cannot believe that your manageress/hostess recognised us. We felt so important and privileged. We were upgraded to another room just because we were repeat customers. We feel so valued as guests. The infused ethics of pride, passion and customer loyalty was far extended beyond the norm. Please understand that we are very well travelled. We stayed at the Santon Sun three weeks ago, all 5 stars yet nothing can top the sense of belonging. Well done Westmoreland Lodge and staff. We will return.

It was a place to stay close to where we needed to be but photos and descriptions did not match

- • The descriptions and photos did not match the actual experience. We were not expecting communal bathrooms, no kettles in the rooms and other simple amenities which are often included in B&B’s.

- • Place had a smell and spider webs. Some windows could not close properly, broken. They need to do something about the tree at the top of the stairs. It was hard to bend while carrying our luggage. The hot and cold water was a problem when showering, to get it at the right temperature. The place could attract many more clients if well maintained.
