La propiedad era absolutamente hermosa: una hermosa casa moderna con diseño mexicano-escandinavo. La habitación era hermosa y cómoda. Las áreas comunes acogedoras y accesibles pero impresionantes.

SMDA is a special place and CDC is the icing on the cake.
We loved our stay at CDC; it is an oasis. Beautiful, quiet, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Our room was wonderful - large, well soundproofed, comfortable beds and nicely decorated. I enjoyed the patio, which had comfortable chairs and got the morning sun - a perfect spot for tea and a book. The building was very well designed - lots of light, plants and water. The hot tub has an incredible view of SMDA and is a perfect place for sunsets. The botanical park surrounds the house on three sides and is well worth a visit. The breakfasts were a treat - we loved the different savoury dishes that were freshly cooked up for us each morning. We enjoyed getting to know the other guests and Viktor, the gracious owner/host. We did the walk down into town twice a day and took Ubers back, which only cost a few dollars.

Very pleasant stay at Cuna del Cielo.
My wife and I really liked the architectural design of the house, the attention from the owner was excellent, even though he was not there, he was always attentive to our stay; also, the girls who support with the reception and the preparation of breakfasts were very friendly and the food was very delicious, we will definitely return, the location is 15-20 minutes from downtown San Miguel de Allende.

- • Being a concept in which you literally feel at home, you move freely using the amenities it offers (sauna, jacuzzi, natural pool, mini gym, and kitchen, dining room, and living room area).
Wonderful experience
It is an ideal place. The structure, the rooms, the design, and its facilities are wonderful. Delicately designed and cared for to make you feel in 'Heaven' as its name indicates. It is close to the center of San Miguel and at the same time allows you to rest and enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful views.

Cuna del Cielo is a tranquil oasis with sweeping views of San Miguel de Allende and within walking distance of its center. Each of the villas is built around water features, such as small ponds and a waterfall, that empty into a swimming fish pond with views of the town below. The entire space is curated with an artistic vision. The common living areas have beautiful panoramic views of the mountains, distant lake, and town, with particularly striking sunset views. My room had paintings of Japanese calligraphy, an antique rug, views of the Botanical reserve adjacent to the property, and lounge chairs outside to relax. There were several comfortable features, such as soft sheets, woolen blankets, a fleece bathrobe, gas heater, and desk to work at. The bathroom was illuminated with a skylight and had a Japanese tub and rain shower. Everything in the villa was conducive to wellness, tranquility, and silent meditation. It's an excellent base to explore San Miguel de Allende from and also a good place for longer-term creative retreats. As it's an uphill walk from town, I usually took an Uber up and walked down. The walk itself is quite enjoyable and the houses and flora in the neighborhood are stunning. A short walk away is the cafe Geek and Coffee, which is located in another natural reserve, with a stream and lake for ducks, as well as a compound with galleries. I only scratched the surface of San Miguel de Allende on this trip but highly recommend both the town and Cuna del Cielo.

- • The space is perhaps better for those who don't want to be in the center of town, which has more traffic and pollution. For me, the fact that Cuna del Cielo was a 15-20 minute walk away from the town worked, because I appreciated the tranquility, silence, and sweeping views. But it may not work for people who want a loud, festive holiday in the center.
Very friendly staff, many facilities to relax, spacious rooms, everything very clean, beautiful views of SMA
