Rainforest paradise. Wonderful location immersed in the rainforest. Monkeys, giant squirrels, birds all around. Room was very comfortable with lots of big windows in all directions to soak up the rainforest views. Staff were super friendly and always helpful. A wonderful stay.

A nature-lover’s retreat in the rainforest overlooking the beach
Gorgeous villas surrounded by trees and nature. Feels like you’re in a treehouse from a children’s storybook! I absolutely adored the decor and the little touches around both the rainforest villa and the pool villa. The food was truly exceptional, especially the high tea they served in our villa. The staff are so smiley and kind. They all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I will recommend this villa.

Lovely stay
- lovely room in beautiful surroundings, but be prepared for an uphill climb with lots of steps! - great staff (especially Nizal and Ummi!) who were very responsive - delicious breakfast, generous portions. We highly recommend the Roti Canai. - very close to a more private, secluded beach than Pantai Cenang.

- • - we ate at the Rimba restaurant for dinner one evening. The food was average and quite pricey compared to other places we have tried in Malaysia!

The location was stunning and the 2-bedroom cottage was wonderful and very clean. There were drinks in the fridge and a beautiful cake welcoming us, so thoughtful 😊

Stunning views with comfortable amenities and friendly staff for nature lovers
We (couple) came for an amazing 4-night stay. From arrival to departure, it couldn’t have been better. Every staff member we interacted with was genuine, helpful, and pleasant. This may be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast provided by the property was delicious each day and this place was a paradise for animal lovers. Two species of monkeys, multiple bird species, and more that we come across during our stay. Lee and the rest of the staff were such a blessing each day. Highly recommend for all nature lovers.

One of my favorite moments for my holiday was at Ambong. I love wildlife, so floating in the pool surrounded by monkeys, squirrels, and birds was incredible. Staff were lovely and rooms were large and nicely decorated with fresh filtered cold water and a welcome dessert. Food in the restaurant was delicious and I loved the monkey guest.

- • Bed was too hard for me. Not suitable for anyone who can't do stairs or steep driveways, but you expect that in a rainforest on a hill.
