- • The pool and gym was off limits due to Ramadan, which they should have informed us about beforehand.
Bed was very comfortable. The waiters are friendly. Clean. Foods was good.

- • Inconsistent regulations ( in the breakfast the staff said that I have to dress modesly, no thank top or open in the shoulder, so I went back to the room and had changed my dress & coveredmy shoulder,, but after I was in the breakfast room, I saw a young lady dressed with open shoulder. I said immediately to the staff, and the woman staff said that actually a woman staff had already reprimanded the young woman but she answered that she felt uncomfortable in her covered clothing). Rules are rules, aren't they?
Great breakfast, nice room with a wide view over the city, comfortable bed, very friendly and helpful staff. We were glad to have a haven of peace in this bustling city.

- • European food from the restaurants is not really European…more like Asian Euro fusion, so I would suggest skipping.
Great view
Booked mountain view deluxe room, was able to see the mountains in good weather. There are 3 universities nearby.

- • Breakfast bar was amazing but I wished they labelled what things were so I knew what to could eat as a vegetarian. Great experience overall

I had an absolute fantastic stay at the Manohara Hotel. The rooms are very clean and get thoroughly cleaned every day. From the Rooftop Bar & Pool you have a fantastic view over the city. The Gym is not very big but it’s enough for a quick workout. The food is superb and especially in the morning you can’t eat everything that’s offered because of the big variety. If you booked an early day trip at 3:00 o'clock, no problem the kitchen will fix you up a breakfast to go and leave it at the lobby. If I come back to Yogyakarta I’ll be staying at the Manohara again.
