We will gladly return to Mountain Camp.
Our stay at Mountain Camp was a real pleasure. A very warm welcome despite the very early hour of our arrival. The place is a haven of peace, very flowery and fragrant (mint, basil...). The hot springs (swimming pool) offer an incredible way to relax. The breakfasts and dinners are plentiful and excellent. Very good advice for visits and activities to do in the surroundings. Very good moments shared with the staff whom we sincerely thank. Karine Maëlys Sophie

You can have a very nice experience! 😊
I had a very warm and wonderful experience for 3 nights and 4 days. The hotel is rich in nature with a beautiful garden and many art pieces scattered around, animals, hot springs, a pool, and even a treehouse. Every time, you can enjoy very delicious local Siwa dishes. I was able to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Cairo. Everything was amazing, but the most impressive and joyful thing was the warm interaction with the hotel staff, other guests, and visitors, like a family. I was a solo female traveler, but they always took care of me, shared meals every time, and taught me about their culture, customs, and language. There was music and dance every night, and learning to dance with the beautiful Egyptian women and dancing together is a precious memory. I highly recommend it to those interested in cultural exchange. Also, the hotel arranged a tuk-tuk tour for me to Salt Lake, Cleopatra Spring, Shali Fortress, and Fatnas Island. It was very enjoyable to hear stories from the locals. All the locals in Siwa greeted me kindly with 'Welcome to Egypt, Siwa 😊'. If you go to Egypt, please visit Siwa and I highly recommend Mountain Camp Ali Khaled. Thank you very much! ✨✨

A lovely hotel where you can relax.
The garden was very cute and relaxing. The shower had hot water and good water pressure (although it smelled of iron). I could sleep quietly away from the city noise at night. The owner, Mr. Ali, said, 'You can relax until the time of your night bus even after check-out, it's okay, no need to pay.' So, I could relax until the bus time!

- • I recommend bringing your own amenities such as toilet paper and soap as they are not provided. The WiFi is weak, and the SIM card had almost no signal. It was a bit challenging for research, but I thought it was like a digital detox and spent my time. As it is far from the city center, it was difficult to call a tuk-tuk immediately. The hotel staff can call a tuk-tuk for you, but I think the price is high.
Great location!
There is a large outdoor bath and a warm shower outside. The location is very beautiful.

- • The staff was unwilling and lazy. The electric kettle in the room was very dirty, we asked for it to be cleaned, and we were told, 'Here is the kitchen and the jar, clean it yourself.' The kitchen was dirty. We preferred not to have breakfast there and moved elsewhere. They told us that breakfast would be served around 10 am and if we wanted tea or water, we had to pay for it. Never again.
It was amazing! The staff were very kind and supportive. The place was clean, the hot spring was superb, and they organized an amazing party night. My room was also very clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The place is near the downtown, just 15 minutes by car or tuktuk, and there are many transportation options available. I asked the camp to bring a tuktuk and I only had to wait 10 minutes. And found the tuktuk.

The breakfast was very enjoyable, and the property itself is lovely to be on, with many different amenities available for use.

- • The location is a little far from the center of the town, and the WiFi is not the strongest connection, however, nothing too negative left an impact.
Needs a change in management.
The decoration and space of the place are very beautiful.

- • The lack of cleanliness is the main negative point of the place. There are several trash cans on the premises, but they do not remove the garbage. We stayed for 3 days, and upon arrival, we saw one of the trash cans full, right in the center of the place, and it remained dirty until we left. Detail: We went in the low season, and the accommodation was practically empty (I believe at most 3 guests), and still, they did not collect the garbage. Result: Flies... Many flies! You end up avoiding staying outside the room (and inside the room, the Wi-Fi does not work properly). The hot springs and pool were very slimy and dirty, so we asked their team to clean it when we arrived at the accommodation and several times afterward, but it was not cleaned. We lost patience because it was very hot, and we cleaned the pool ourselves, removing the slime with a broom. In one of these moments, Mohamed, the manager of the place, came to ask me for some information, saw me cleaning the pool, and took no action. Despite booking tours with them, including meals, they wanted to charge us for everything from water to coffee, charging 10 times more than what was charged in the center of Siwa. As you cannot easily go to the center, you end up being held hostage by them.
The outside environment is very good, very poetic
