BEAUTIFUL ROOM/BEAUTIFUL VIEW/COMFORTABLE BED/VERY FRIENDLY CHEF MADE GLUTEN-FREE BREAD ON REQUEST/FREE SHUTTLE TO THE OTHER SIDE WITH KIND AND HELPFUL STAFF/CHRISTEEN IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS IS VERY AVAILABLE AND DOES HER BEST TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMER, SHE DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB BUT THE MANAGER DOESN'T SEEM TO NOTICE, THE STAFF IS VERY PLEASANT, KIND, AND HELPFUL. THE OUTDOOR TERRACE BY THE NILE IS VERY LOVELY (LESS LOUD MUSIC AND MORE INTERNATIONAL STYLE LIKE JAZZY, CLASSIC, WORLD MUSIC WOULD BE A PLUS)! WELL-MAINTAINED GARDEN, YOU CAN SEE THE GARDENERS WORKING ALL DAY TO KEEP IT UP.

- • RECEPTION: STAFF IS KIND BUT DOESN'T KNOW WHEN ASKED FOR AN INVOICE, HAD TO GET ANGRY TO OBTAIN IT, THE RECEPTION DOESN'T PUT THE KEY TO OUR ROOM IN THE RIGHT PLACE AND INSISTS THAT THE ROOM KEY IS NOT AT THE RECEPTION!...AFTER SEARCHING, THE RECEPTION FINDS IT BUT IT HAD BEEN PUT ELSEWHERE! (WE LEFT THE ROOM KEY EVERY DAY) // AFTER AN EXCURSION: 7 PM ROOM NOT CLEANED, HAD TO CALL THE ROOMS MANAGER OURSELVES WHO CLEANED THE ROOM AT 7:30 PM!...THE HOUSEKEEPING STAFF COULDN'T OPEN OUR ROOM, HAD TO OPEN IT FOR THEM WITH OUR KEY FOR THE CLEANING TO BE DONE! LACK OF HANGERS TO HANG CLOTHES OUTSIDE OF THE WARDROBE/MISSING A SMALL PIECE OF FURNITURE TO PLACE LUGGAGE (ONLY ONE PIECE OF FURNITURE FOR 2 SUITCASES)/MISSING A LINE ABOVE THE SHOWER TO HANG WASHED UNDERGARMENTS EVERY DAY! /// VERY LARGE HOTEL ON THE GROUND FLOOR ONLY ONE WC ZONE, HAD TO WALK 150 METERS TO GET THERE (MY FRIEND HAD WALKING DIFFICULTIES AND IT WAS PAINFUL) // ON THE GROUND FLOOR IN THE MORNING A SYNTHETIC PERFUME IS RELEASED BY A LARGE DIFFUSER AND IT'S HORRIBLE, IT TRIGGERS HEADACHES! SOME STAFF MEMBERS WE TALKED TO COMPLAIN OF CHRONIC SINUSITIS AND ALLERGIES! THE HOTEL ENDANGERS THE HEALTH OF ITS STAFF AND GUESTS BY RELEASING THIS PERFUME!...ARABIC MUSIC IS PLAYED ALL DAY, YOU CAN NEVER HAVE SILENCE EVEN ON THE OUTDOOR TERRACE, IN THE LARGE GROUND FLOOR LOBBY A TV IS ALWAYS ON! ALL THESE ELEMENTS SHOW THAT THE HOTEL DOESN'T DESERVE ITS 5 STARS! WE DIDN'T FIND THE SUBDUED AND ELEGANT ATMOSPHERE OF A 5-STAR HOTEL! A PYRAMIDAL MANAGEMENT THAT LEAVES LITTLE INITIATIVE TO THE STAFF WHO SEEM CONSTRAINED AND WORRIED BEHIND BEAUTIFUL SMILES. WE FEEL SORRY FOR THEM.

The location, the well-kept park grounds, and the cleanliness in and around the hotel including the pool area. The hygiene in the restaurant during breakfast. The rooms had everything you need and everything worked. The interior is not brand new anymore. The staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Mona from the room cleaning team almost mothered me with everything I needed while I had to spend a day in bed due to a stomach upset.

- • Overall, I felt comfortable there, but wouldn't want to be there in May due to the high temperatures. Temperatures of 40+ hardly allow staying outside the air-conditioned building complex.
I like warm hospitality especially from Mrs. Christeen Geres. She was well planned and informed.
