- • Like most hotel rooms, there is no thought to the placement of mirrors. It’s good to have a full-length mirror. However, if you are drying or straightening your hair or applying makeup, a mirror needs to have a table or counter space directly under it, with a socket in close proximity. Why are mirrors so far from sockets and counter space or tables?
Suitable for short stays
Conveniently located for trips to Oxford and the surrounding area. The room size was adequate and the hosts were very friendly. The hotel's own restaurant was surprisingly good and offers an English pub menu and Indian specialties.

- • You pay for the convenient location with a highway right outside the door. The room was a bit run down, I fixed a thick gap in the door leading outside with duct tape, everything was a bit dirty. Breakfast had to be "pre-ordered" from a very limited selection, otherwise, there were cornflakes.

Staff was friendly and always helpful, pleasant outdoor dining and drinking area. Good food. Would stay again.

- • We had booked a superior room which was very comfortable, supposed to have a garden view but looked out over the dustbins and waste skips.
Met our needs in the right location at a reasonable price.
The room was a good size with a very comfortable double bed and excellent pillows. There was a fan in the room which was a great bonus as it was SO HOT. DINNER. We enjoyed the very good Indian meal. Tasty and expertly cooked. BREAKFAST. - Was quite basic with good poached eggs

- • The road was noisy. The curry and garlic smell was very strong in the accommodation area from the extractor fan.

- • We stayed overnight & doors to all rooms desperately in need of a coat of paint. A fresh look would improve first impressions as the room was fine. The view from the window of the old skip is not great so I recommend it be moved!
