Desa Hay is a little tropical paradise. With only six private villas, it offers an intimate and peaceful atmosphere, making it the perfect place for anyone looking to truly unwind. After 9 p.m., the music stops and the entire property becomes wonderfully quiet. Each villa is set within its own private tropical garden, surrounded by walls that ensure complete privacy while naturally keeping the space cool. We stayed in August and never once needed to turn on the air conditioning. The contemporary wooden architecture is simply stunning. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect balance between luxury and nature. The villa is spacious and equipped with every comfort, while the bathroom is spectacular, featuring a large walk-in shower, double sinks, and beautiful finishes throughout. Outside, each villa has its own private patio with a plunge pool, a hammock, and even an outdoor bathtub. It truly feels like your own secluded tropical sanctuary. Yoga mats are also provided for the morning yoga sessions. Despite feeling completely immersed in nature, Desa Hay is only about a ten-minute drive or scooter ride from Pererenan Beach. What truly makes this place exceptional, however, is the people. Every member of the team is genuinely kind, warm, and attentive, with thoughtful little touches every day that make you feel truly welcome. The level of hospitality is outstanding, and every detail is handled with great care. The organization is flawless. You can contact the hotel at any time via WhatsApp, and an iPad is provided in the villa, making everything even more convenient. The food deserves a special mention. As Italians, we have high expectations when it comes to cuisine, and we were genuinely impressed. Every meal was absolutely delicious, so congratulations to the entire kitchen team. We also enjoyed a massage during our stay, and it was another wonderful experience. Honestly, we struggled to find even the smallest flaw throughout our stay.

The staff were amazing, the food was delicious, and I really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The atmosphere was perfect. I also arranged a surprise with flowers for my wife, and everything was prepared beautifully. It made the moment even more special.

I have not been so impressed by any other hotel in my life, despite staying in the most luxurious hotels in different parts of the world. There are a total of 6 rooms in the hotel, and the number of staff is much higher according to the number of rooms, so the staff takes care of you individually. The staff is very friendly and the most professional team I have seen in Bali. The breakfast is fantastic, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable, they even ironed my wrinkled clothes and left them in the room, the pool was very clean, and I loved the cocktail menu prepared by the pool. The reason for me to come back to Bali might be this hotel.

Incredible stay, exception staff, brilliant food and atmosphere.

We loved everything about the property! It was very clean and private. It was very quiet with no traffic noise even though we were so close to town. Lovely noises of wildlife. The food was out of this world. The staff were exceptional, no request was too much to ask. We felt so at home we didn’t want to leave.

Staff were very good - loves all the little extra touches - complimentary water bottles and bags. Music personalized on check-in. Very nice!
