- • Just comments for improvement, not criticism 😁 Elevator lighting is too low. I stayed at room 7510 AC went warm then cold, difficult to open curtains with the button. I advised reception staff on Saturday i would like to purchase a robe on Sunday morning when I check out, they made a note of it, on Sunday morning I came to check out and asked about the robe, the reception staff had to take time to find one for me, I had a flight to catch so maybe better communication across staff would be good so guests don’t have to wait around :) I also requested a Panadol by calling, and 30 mins later i needed to follow up and eventually it arrived. Maybe you could ask guests what time they prefer for cleaning staff to clean the room, that’s what Park Hyatt Auckland does. Not enough slippers for all 4 guests, not enough robes too. I think the small details is what sets apart the good and amazing hotels for us guests. I am loyal to Park Hyatt but i think the Ritz Melbourne has the better view and building so with some improvement in service, this could be a perfect stay. I’ll try again next year. Thank you
The hotel is beautiful, the pool area was relaxing and clean. The room and views were amazing.
The staff and extra care and details were amazing. They knew our names everywhere we went. And gave us extra treats for our wedding anniversary. The champagne and sweet treats in our room, as well as early checkin started the whole day off perfectly.

- • Our room was not made in the mornings even when we put on the clean room sign. In addition, on some nights there were turn down services and some nights there weren't any. So we were a little confused about this. We called the room cleaning services but they didn't change their service during the remainder of the duration of our stay. Furthermore, when we were checking out it took us over thirty minutes to checkout the property. We had to sit in the reception area and it seemed like they were understaffed as one person was running the whole space for the entire duration of our checkout. One more point to note is that guests are required to change elevators and the wait time can be long during peak times as members of the public who utilise the hotel facilities are required to use the same elevators as hotel guests going from the reception area down to the lobby.
