Awesome weekend with the son to see Def Leppard
Drove past the entrance signs are overgrown, didn’t spot them. Once in the reception the place looked ok, we never used any of the bar or restaurant facilities it was just a base for a concert at the BP live

- • The room we stayed in although at first appearance looked clean, there hadn’t been a duster in that room for a long time. Every surface incl the telephone the upside down cups, headboards, wardrobe all had a layer of dust. The en suite was tiny the shower was a trickle. But again it was purely a base and somewhere to put our heads down for the night. It did what we needed it to do.
Bit Hit and Miss
Walkable (40 mins) to BP Pulse Arena. Second room we were moved to was ok, but needed a hoover and clean. Plenty of hot water. Lady who dealt with us at reception very nice.

- • The original room we were given was so small and the bed was up against the wall so would have had to climb over each other to get in and out - rubbish for what we paid (we were moved). The second room was very hot and no fan. Needed a good clean. Small bathroom and shower cubicle. Very expensive breakfast. £7 parking charge excessive.
Simple clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Food came quickly and was tasty.

- • We didn't have towels in the room. There is no lift so if you have luggage, you might need to haul it up narrow stairs.
It was close to the airport and it was a lot cheaper than some of the other options available. When all you are after is a bed for the night before an early morning flight, it was brilliant. They even had a taxi button to push at the front desk to summon a cab and it was there within 10 minutes.

- • It was a very hot night so it was a little warm in the room without aircon but that was to be expected.
