- • Unfortunately, my experience at Fairmont Tazi Palace Tangier was far below the standard I expected from a luxury five-star hotel. Before my arrival, I clearly requested an extra bed, a bidet/toilet spray, and additional bottled water. Despite making these requests in advance, none of them were prepared when I arrived. I had to wait for a long time before receiving the requested items, which was extremely disappointing after a long journey. The receptionist repeatedly mentioned that this was “the best hotel in the area,” which raised my expectations, but unfortunately, the service did not reflect that level of excellence. I was also disappointed by the lack of a proper welcome and the absence of assistance with my luggage upon arrival. In addition, the room was not as clean as I expected from a Fairmont property. Before check-out, I had specifically requested a Mercedes van for transportation at 1:30 PM, but the handling of my arrangements added further frustration to an already disappointing stay. Overall, I expected exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, cleanliness, and professionalism from Fairmont. Unfortunately, my experience did not meet these expectations. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves the guest experience.
