The wild area was really beautiful and clean. The apartment was spacious. The hot tub was a nice addition. We cooked our own food from the seafood market and the kitchen was well equipped.

Vilas do Olival is a perfect place to stay in Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel island
Vilas do Olival is perfectly situated in Ponta Delgada. It's not in the central downtown district, but that's not a problem. Rather, its quiet location is just a few minutes east of downtown and access to the freeway is very easy, making the downtown and airport very convenient. Tanya, the site host, greeted us and checked us into our villa. She was always on hand during the day if we had any questions or needs. The villa was very clean and well appointed, including a complete kitchen, comfortable living and bedroom, and a spacious bathroom/shower area. Parking was immediately outside the villa and featured a privacy gate. Finally, assuming it's warm enough, there's a pool and deck to enjoy for a relaxing afternoon. We highly recommend Vilas do Olival!

We are very happy to have chosen this place.
It is a modern apartment, well equipped and everything is very clean. You are welcomed with a little welcome basket with local products. During the week we stayed, they came 3 times to leave us clean towels, both for indoor and outdoor use. Ending the day in the hot tub, after the excursions, is a real luxury. They also came to clean the apartment. It is a perfect place to be calm, with all the comforts, as it is less than a 10-minute drive from the urban center.

- • The only minor thing was that the bed was a bit small for us, but that’s not a fault of the accommodation—it’s just that our son is used to sleeping with us, so we had to adjust a bit. Otherwise, everything was absolutely perfect.
