It was as expected, staff were really friendly and helpful. Everywhere was cleaned regularly. The rooms had plenty of storage space and the pod was fairly spacious. For the price given, everything was great.

- • I mean having a couple of extra pillows would've been nice, but not essential. And some natural light in the rooms would be a lot nicer, but not essential. Otherwise over the two weeks I stayed, everything was great.
Basic but functional
The tour desk was really cool and there are a lot of lounge areas. Also loads of showers available.

- • The place was absolutely basic. The location did not feel safe and it was far from the seafront and train. The beds were the smallest I have ever seen and they have noisy little camp-style fans (the type you plug into a usb) which don’t really circulate airflow in the bunk. With no windows and no air I struggled to sleep.
Nice hostel but not my type!
Good position, even if not pretty, very nice workers and clean bathrooms (not in the first floor though). I also liked the idea of having a bar in the first floor with a 10% discount so that I could get a coffee without going out!

- • The kitchen is big but when the place is crowded is not ideal. I understand it is difficult to maintain some order and basic hygienic principles in such a big and crowded place but sometimes the sink would stay clogged for the whole dinner time. I also didn't like that the place working as a "chill room" (really nice) was often closed for external use and us people from the hostel couldn't enter. Overall a nice hostel, even if the way it is doesn't help people creating special "hostel friendships", but a little bit too pricy for not having a terrace and other nice details.
Quiet and clean
I loved my stay. Checking in was a breeze. You can also store your bags with them if you arrive too early or leaving akl way after checkout. All spaces were wide like the hallways, the communal area, the bathroom.s the rooms the pods. The pods have netting on the inside for your things, a light, charging port. and each pod has a locker that can fit a large suitcase. The locker are locked and can only be opened by your key card so keep that safe. The communal area may need a bit more spaces especially if you can't really hang out at your room. Since you're sharing with others it may be disturbing to them. The pods are literally js there to sleep or relax. The sleeping areas are so quiet which I love and the facitlities are cleaner than expected. If you forgot your towel it's $5 for a towel at reception. If you don't have food there are vending machines that have snacks and ramen. I stayed for 2 nights and it was easy enough to get groceries at countdown in the city which is about a 10mins walk from lylo. The staff are so helpful. There is drinking water station at the miss Lucy bar. The kitchen has three fridges you js need to label your bags with your room number and date checking out. There are two cooktops and 2 sinks. Plenty of plates cups cutlery. Also there is a barber on-site and a quiet pod for working or taking important calls. There are scooters on the streets. It's about a 10 to 12 mins ride to the viaduct on scooter. The girls bathroom had showers 1 changing room and toilets. It was clean. You need to be organized with your things. How you store them

- • The pods got a little bit stuffy when you slide your pod door closed. Also the pod door is like foam/felt material so it's light but also that means it's not soundproof also the pods cannot be locked. A hair dryer in the girls bathroom might have been a go idea. An area to work would've been good because the communal dining area usually had traveller's editing their travel videos and doing admin work or gaming. But there isn't enough tables to go around to eat. You might need another fridge. The three on-site were always so pCked!
