Unique and memorable experience at Cigno Hotel
This is a fabulous boutique hotel and an absolute oasis in the city of Merida. It’s about a 20 minute walk to the Plaza Mayor. Our suite was lovely and well appointed. The dining experience was superb and the food was at an elevated level. So much so that we chose not to dine elsewhere during our stay in Merida. All of the staff were excellent and most accommodating. They had their own unique take on what were delicious and innovative cocktails using local ingredients. The decor of the courtyard, restaurant and other public rooms were beautiful and unique. The hotel and restaurant are deserving of their Michelin status. We would most definitely return in the future.

- • We had a car so the distance from city centre and shopping was not a deterrent. We also walked to the centre. Just plan your walk when it’s not too hot. Before 11 am or after 3:30
